Our T.V.(tow vehicle) is a 2017 Toyota 4Runner(T4R) Off-Road, rated to tow 5000 lbs. We purchased the T4R because we enjoy driving roads that we find unsuitable for a car. Such as jeep roads with large rocks, big puddles, steep inclines, sand, and so on. The R-Pod facilitates visits to areas like the National Forests where campgrounds are inviting and the Forest Service roads take us to interesting areas.
About our 2017 Forest River R-Pod 171 travel trailer. 1) How we've modified it to suit our needs and preferences. 2) Our experiences with it. 3) Trips we've enjoyed using the R-Pod.
R-Pod
We own a Forest River R-Pod - a 2017 RP-171. This is probably the smallest R-Pod, at least for the 2017 model year when we bought ours.
We bought it for a trip to Alaska that we enjoyed so much, we'd like to do it again soon!
